> how Flixmedia started <

"Flixmedia was born out of my frustration in trying to buy a stereo online from a retailer back in 2004. With just a tiny, blurred photo and 2 bullet points of text, I couldn’t really see the product, how it worked or what came with it.

 

I had the idea to use all the fantastic information and assets on the manufacturer’s own website. It was a win for everyone – the shopper, the retailer and the brand. I quit my job that week, and Flixmedia was born. Our mission was – and still is today – to help brands and retailers sell more.

Our Leadership Team of 5 has combined experience of 90 years. We have a fantastic international mix of entrepreneurs involved from the beginning, talent that has risen through the ranks within Flixmedia and dedicated expertise from the Consumer Goods industry. This first-class mix drives us forward as a company, developing the right strategic direction, ensuring the right resource and developments and, most importantly, keeping our Brand and Retail partners at the centre of everything we do.

Our team is what drives us forward. We’re a passionate, ambitious, dynamic company that will always go the extra mile for our customers. We’ve put a lot of work into finding and training a great bunch of similarly minded people globally who thrive in and enjoy that kind of environment. We have 70 employees, from 20 countries, speaking 30 languages. Our offices feel like a United Nations Assembly some days!

As well as investing in and developing our people, we make sure the work environment is fun. Because happy teams are more productive. And honestly, we just prefer working with happy people! From Salad Club to monthly FlixMix nights outs to running marathons together (to make up for the nights out!), there’s a busy social side to Flixmedia.
